A dramatic natural marine park comprising 42 forested limestone islets scattered across the Gulf of Thailand, Ang Thong National Marine Park is best known for its centerpiece: the Emerald Lagoon, or Talay Nai, on Koh Mae Ko island. This landlocked saltwater lake glows an otherworldly jade green, sealed within sheer, jungle-draped karst walls that plunge straight into its still surface.
