A spectacular natural landform renowned as one of the most striking geological wonders on Earth. The Zhangye Danxia Rainbow Mountains rise from the arid corrugated hills of Gansu Province in vivid crimson, amber, and jade-striped sandstone bands, their undulating ridges sculpted over 24 million years by mineral deposition, tectonic movement, and relentless erosion.
