A wild natural beach on Menorca’s rugged southern coastline, Cala Macarelleta forms one half of a legendary twin-cove duo with its larger sister, Cala Macarella. Reached only by a scenic footpath along the Camí de Cavalls or by boat, this pine-fringed limestone inlet reveals a crescent of pale sand cradling shallow, luminous turquoise water that shifts from pale aquamarine to deep sapphire as the seabed deepens.

Framed by fragrant Mediterranean scrub, wild rosemary and juniper clinging to weathered cliffs, the cove retains an untamed, almost secretive character despite its fame.
