|Anse Lazio Praslin, Seychelles ⚲
This natural beach unfolds along the northwest coast of Praslin, Seychelles, where powder-white sand curves gently between two headlands of sculpted, rounded granite boulders. The bay’s turquoise waters shift from pale jade in the shallows to deep sapphire further out, framed by a canopy of takamaka and coconut palms that lean toward the shore, casting dappled shade across the sand.
Often ranked among the most beautiful beaches on Earth, Anse Lazio remains free of built development, its wild granite outcrops and forested hills preserving an untouched, primordial character. The absence of coastal reef keeps the water exceptionally clear, revealing every gradient of blue beneath the surface, while the surrounding boulders create natural coves ideal for quiet contemplation or gentle swimming.
Reached via a scenic road that climbs and descends through Praslin’s granite hills, the beach rewards visitors with a sense of arrival at something elemental — a place where ocean, stone, and forest converge in rare equilibrium, largely undisturbed by the passage of time.
