This natural cove is one of Menorca’s most captivating beaches, a twin sister to the larger Cala Macarella hidden along the island’s untouched southern coastline. A pine-crowned limestone headland curves protectively around the shore, framing shallows of such piercing turquoise that the water seems almost illuminated from within, fading into deeper sapphire tones toward the open Balearic Sea.

The powder-white sand crescent is small and intimate, reached only by a footpath through fragrant Mediterranean scrubland or by boat, which has kept the setting remarkably unspoiled despite its fame.
