A natural ice cave carved beneath one of Europe’s largest glaciers, the Blue Crystal Cavern reveals itself each winter as meltwater and pressure sculpt shifting chambers of translucent, sapphire-hued ice deep within Vatnajökull’s outlet glaciers.
